I am interested in organizing a 4x4 trail run in Tahyua State Forest on November 16th.
This is a great place develop your 4x4 driving skills, challenge your rig, or just cruise around. There are trails and obstacles for all levels of rigs and experience. It is only wet & muddy in the winter so good for 4x4 runs then.
Thinking of meeting around 8-10am in Belfair, WA depending on if anyone is interested in coming along and how far you will travel. Lunch on the trail and finish when everyone has seen enough.
This would be a good event to bring out friends and family.
If you are interested let me know and we can work out final times and other details as we get closer.
If another date would work better for a majority we can also talk about that change.
Come out and get to know your rig, use your four wheel drive, and have fun.
My idea for minimum requirements for Tahuya: a 4x4, front and rear tow points, a lunch, a flash light, warm closes, rain jacket, first aid kit and a good attitude.
Disclaimer, I run the majority of Tahuya in a stock 2000 TJ, but there are trails for full on trailer to the start type of rigs. You are responsible for your own decisions when on the trail, even under peer pressure. I am not responsible if you scratch your rig, sorry. If you needed help or spotting someone will be there. This will be fun!

I am looking to put together a facebook invite, what time do you guys think you might be up this way and want to meet up? If you are still wanting to camp would that be Friday night or Saturday after the run. I can work on a camping location near Tahuya if your interested.
